Money [ Matthew 19 v 16ff]

I was watching a program about the Faroe Islands,a small kingdom ruled by
Denmark, although it has a degree of self government. It has a small population, fishing is one of the main means of livelihood. It is a very inhospitable place,it is not a place where life is easy. But they love football,
again the weather does not make it easy, but as  I have said, they love it,not much money in it,yet one of the people being interviewed said  he felt things were going to change, the reason being was money. In 1 Timothy 6 v10,reads,/ For the love of money is the root of all evil/W  Hendriksen, translates it like this,/For a root of all the evils is the love of money/.
Consider it was a love of money that drove Judas to betray Jesus, consider
how many crimes are committed for money. A rich young man when faced with choosing money and the Saviour, he chose money[Matthew 19 v16ff]
It is a challenge to consider this subject, but it must be faced, whatever that means for you or me,I do hope and pray that we all make the right choice.
                                                A  prayer.
Dear Lord help us all to not let money become become something that we love .Amen.

Sad providences [Job 23 v10]

 J. Flavel author of ,/The mystery of providence/,wrote of sad providences,
that  even by the hands of these providences, God will do us good[Romans
8 v28]By these God is but killing your lusts, weaning your hearts from a vain world, preventing temptations and exciting your desires after heaven.
This is all the hurt they shall do to you,and shall that sadden us?/I  have found it so,consider how unrestrained certain lusts are in people.Paul the apostle declared that there was no good thing in his flesh[Romans 7v 18]
That being the case for all of us,God in his mercy, works in our lives,by sad
Providence's,be it through bereavement, poverty, unemployment, and a multitude of other happens. In our unsaved days these things run their course,no new years resolution did much to change us,Often God has to use severe means to curtail out thought patterns. Consider Job and all he suffered, yet this spiritual man,declared,/But He knoweth the way that I take
;when He hath tried me,I shall come forth as gold[Job 23 v10]God is in the
business of changing us,I read this recently, our happiness is not His goal,
rather He works in our lives to make us more holy. Contrary to what people
say as regards holiness,it is a blessed state,it is a happy state,a state of being free.
                                            A  prayer.
Dear God we bow to your will,we ask that you would perfect that which concerneth us,even though the process may be painful, in Jesus name Amen.

Standing alone.[ Romans 8 v 31ff ]

One of the most popular westerns ever made was the movie, High Noon about a law officer, who was faced with four outlaws who were going to kill
him,and no one  was prepared to help him, except an old drunk, and a young boy.In the end he had to face them alone,he had considered running
away, but he knew they would follow him. There are many Christians living in societies were those around them hate them, and would gladly kill them
many our fleeing, but there are many who cannot flee for whatever reason, and humanly speaking they are on their own.Humanly speaking they don't stand a chance, yes it would appear they do not stand a chance, but they are not on their own,no more than we are. There is one standing by every child of God,irrespective of circumstances, one who can preserve, protect
and keep according to His will. The apostle Paul experienced great trials,he wrote of an occasion when all men forsook him,but then he adds, nevertheless the Lord stood with me,and strengthened me[2  Timothy 4 v 16-17].
                                            A prayer.
Dear God for all your dear children who have no human help, and are standing alone ,against those who would gladly destroy them ,have mercy, and come to their aid ,in Jesus name Amen.

Now thats love.[ Romans 5 v 8]

Bruce Milne, writing on Christs  self humbling to death,says/,This is love,
not that we loved God,but that He loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins[1 John 4 v10].In the end there is no other explanation of the cross other than the love of God. There can be no other, for we certainly do not deserve it and can never earn it / The following words
were written in pencil on the wall of a narrow room,of an asylum by a man
said to have been demented.
Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade.
To write the love of God above,
                    Would drain the ocean dry,
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Tho stretched from sky to sky.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish ,but have everlasting life[John 3 v16]. Now that's Love.

We cannot withdraw those words.[James 1 v19]

Recently our Prime Minister was caught out by what he said,he did not realise that what he was saying was being recorded.Ex President Nixon was
caught out by what he said, though he did try to tamper with what had been recorded. After a recent football match a player said, about one of his team mates,'he likes to cheat a lot',later he apologised for the confusion that his comments had caused,he indicated that he wanted to withdraw what he had said. All those mentioned would so like to withdraw what they said, but what is said is said. The poet  wrote.
                            The moving finger writes
                             and having written moves on.
Piety nor wit, shall lure it back,
                             to cancel half a line.
Be it the written word or the spoken word the same principal applies, they cannot be taken back.So today let us all be careful as to what we say,
remember they cannot be taken back.I have lost friends by what I have said,
friends I love, words that hurt do not disappear, they  cannot be erased.
                                     A prayer.
Dear God cause us to watch our words, put a guard on our lips, help us to speak aright, help us to not always speak what we feel ,in Jesus name Amen

Life. [ 2 Corinthians 4 v18]

During my recent holiday, I saw two images ,one in a magazine and the other in a cathedral. The first one was a photo in a magazine of a famous
movie star, she was titled a sex goddess, but the photo showed her after she had died,it was not very nice, she no longer manifested a beauty,it had gone.
The other  image was in the cathedral, two stone carvings ,one showed a dead knight laid out in all his armour,a person of power, the other placed
beneath, showed a skeleton like figure. Both these images reminded  me how soon our natural beauty and power vanishes. The beauty and power that men
place great emphases on soon fades, all is very temporary. Now I do not want to depress you but we all need reminded that we all moving very quickly to
an expected end.And yet it is not an end,for there is an eternal existence awaiting us all, when we will give an account of our mortal lives. If we know Christ as Saviour all our service will be judged, that which has not honoured God will be burned up,we will be rewarded for what may be left.[ 1 Corinthians 3 v11ff]. For those who are not Christians their works will have no bearing on that day[Ephesians 2 v 8-9],only faith in Christ and his finished work will saved, nothing else will be taken into account.
                                      A  prayer.
Dear God  teach to number our days that we apply our hearts unto wisdom,in Jesus name Amen..

One word. [ Romans 1 v 7 ]

While on holiday I bought a little place mat,it had my name on it William underneath the name it read,/Good natured, bright and hardworking,a
reliable person. That pleased me,I asked my wife did that sum me up ?,but I asked myself the same question , and hopefully those words reflect to some degree the person I am.I am not going to be blinded by my pride. Those
qualities are commendable but I also know that like the weather I am a changeable person.I know there is a dark side to my nature.A side I would not want to see in print ,a side of me that could bring such misery, and pain
to myself and others, and dishonour to my Saviour and Lord.I do try to live up the good side, but daily I hear my sinful self, and Satan, drawing me over to the dark side.Recently at the church I attend the minister asked us to
share with the person next to us something positive ,that we had experienced in the previous week, the lady next to me,asked me to share
my positive experience, and I replied grace.
Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind but now I see.
                               Through many dangers,toils and snares,
                               I have already come,
Tis grace that's brought me safe so far,
And grace will lead me home.

I am not a slave [ John 8 v 36 ]

Every year in London there is held what is called, the Proms, a season of classical music, which ends with a television coverage,it is very popular.
At the end of this event they play certain well known favourites, one is
Rule Britannia, which have the words,/Britain's never, never, never shall be slaves. The Jews protested when Jesus said that they would be set free if they came to know Him,[John 8 v32ff].They protested, saying that being
descendants of Abraham, they have never been  slaves. Jesus replied ,
everyone who sins is a slave to sin. I live in a free country ,you may live in the land of the so called free, but let us be honest we all are to some degree
in bondage to sin.We all without exception yield to thought patterns, and
habits that hold us in bondage, when Jesus told those who wanted to stone a woman  for her sin,he turned this on them by saying ,if any one of you is
without sin,let him be the first to throw a stone at her,the result was they
all left.  [John 8 v1ff].Are any of us different from those people ?,the answer is no,we are all in bondage to our sinful nature.Forgiveness and freedom are offered to all who trust in Jesus, Bruce Milne wrote the following,/Jesus is the Saviour only of the desperate, who have nowhere
else to turn and no other on which to call/.
                                            A prayer.
Out of my bondage ,sorrow and night,
                     Jesus I come,Jesus I come.
                      Into Thy freedom,gladness and light.
                       Jesus I come to Thee.
                            Amen.

Dead [Romans 6 ]

What happens when one comes to Christ, well when Paul became a Christian he stopped persecuting Christians, but it did not stop there. He jettisoned the old and followed the new,in fact things that he once gloried in,his birth,he was a Jew,he threw out ,also his religious standing, declaring that they were now of no value. All he once counted dear,he now counts as dung, yes when it comes to following Christ, we have to cast of the old,and embrace the new,in fact we have to die to self,we signified this when we were baptised ,as we go under the water , we are dying to the old self. Then as we come out of the water ,we are rising up to walk in newness of life[Romans6 v 1ff ] A lady shared, with a few of us Christians, that when she trusted Jesus, she was faced with a dilemma, for she was living with her boy friend,so she went to him and told him that she could not continue to live together, the result was she married her boyfriend.Yes becoming a Christian challenged her ,to forsake  the way she was living,as the apostle declared, how shall we,that are dead to sin, live any longer therein ?[ Romans 6 v2]
                                                 A prayer.
Dear God  help us by your grace to cast of the old,and to walk in newness of
life in Jesus name we ask this Amen.

Holiness [ Hebrews 12 v14 ]

The moment one starts on the narrow road, one is faced with the challenge of living a life of holiness.Holiness what does that word conquer up for you?. Misery sadness, depriving one of joy and happiness. To many the word ,holy has a negative meaning a kill joy meaning,It is not so,my sins brought unhappiness, look out upon the world ,consider that lives that are destroyed by infidelity.Consider the awfulness of habits that destroy us,many people are addicted to so many things, that is causing them harm and hurt. Many think things are the answer, but things do not fill our aching lonely hearts.Consider the damage lies have caused, the awfulness of the
violence,in this world, millions of people are affected by violence, need I go on?Holiness is living a life, of saying no ,those things that can harm us,and
can affect our relationships. Holiness is saying no to so much that is foolish, hurtful, and self centered, it is saying yes to a clear conscience,
being holy is the most positive and fulfilling way to live, and above all else it is pleasing to God.
                                          A  prayer.
Dear God help us to see how vital holiness is and how positive it is,and how pleasing it is to you in Jesus name Amen.

No other way. [ Galations 6 v14]

Every road has a beginning the narrow road, begins at the cross of our Lord
Jesus, why the cross?.The cross on which Jesus died was Gods answer, His only answer to our greatest need, the forgiveness of our sins. If  you think there is some other means whereby your sin can be forgiven,or if you perceive that the good you do will make up for the wrong you have done, you are sadly mistaken. If you think been sincere will count when you will stand before a holy God ,you are diluted.God will not see your good works,or your sincerity, your religiosity, the fact that you have been a good parent, friend, or neighbour. He will not see  your  faithfulness to your wife, your  employer, that you were a law abiding citizen, no.If you have not sought forgiveness  of your sins ,at the foot of the cross of Christ, then God will only see one thing, and one thing only, your sin,and so judgement will fall upon you, He will declare,I never knew you, depart from me,ye that work iniquity[Matthew 7 v23] Are you burdened with the wrong you have committed? is your conscience bothering you?,well Gods way out is the cross upon which His son died.It is through His death that God forgives every sin we have committed, there is no other way.
                                     A prayer.
Dear God cut through our blindness, indifference, our  stubbornness, help us
to see the awfulness of our sin,and our desperate need of forgiveness, help us
to come to Christ who died that we may be forgiven,in His name we ask this
Amen.

A different road. [ Matthew 7 v 13-23]

He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake [Psalm 23v3 ],the fact of the matter, the Lord will not guide his children in paths of
unrighteousness. Our Lord speaks of two roads, one that is broad, one that is
narrow, these two roads have two different destinations, the broad one leads to destruction, the narrow one leads to life. Many are on the broad road, few are on the narrow road, yes few there will be that are,or will be saved. As I prayed this morning it struck me ,how few of my neighbours are saved,In this world millions are saved but millions upon millions are not, it is a tragedy. It bears in upon one the depth of mankind's sinful condition, let us not be fooled by talk of the human spirit. To place our hope in that is
closing ones eyes to the tendency of humanity,to manifest indifference and
antagonism,to God and his Son Jesus. To place our hope in the human spirit
is to be blind to the testimony of history. To place our faith in the human spirit is to ignore the evidence of our own fallen nature ,we rightly say there but by the grace of God,for apart from Gods grace we could be a murderer,
a child abuser ,a drug abuser etc.I exaggerate not ,for the word of God clearly teaches us that we have a nature that is deceitful and desperately wicked.[Jeremiah 17 v9].The question I ask you, what road are you on?,for
you are not on a road that is going nowhere, what destination will you arrive
at ?.
                                A prayer.
Dear God,help me by your mercy to choose the right road, in Jesus name Amen

Lead me gently home. [ Psalm 23 ]

In verses 2and 3 of psalm 23 ,we have David declaring, He leads me/He guides me.It is so easy to be lead by every whim and fancy, guided by others ,those we feel we can trust. But David says very simply the Lord is leading him, surely that is the best policy,to follow where He leads and guides. Consider what that may mean, how do you see what it means for God to lead and guide?. It means wherever He leads and guides will be best for us even though it appears ,things do not work out as we think. It does not mean that we will not be tried,or  suffer loss, but it does mean, that we will be in the centre of Gods will for our lives. For all of us it means keeping our eyes on Jesus continually, and on our eventual destination Heaven. The apostle Paul was consumed with doing Gods will, but he always kept Christ and his goal in mind. Davids speaks with a certain confidence, He leads me,He guides me,as a child of God he was confident that the one who was his shepherd was with him,and was leading and guiding him. So whatever we may be facing today yes whatever, whatever decisions we are faced with let us like David say , He is leading me,He is guiding me,so all will be well.,

                                          A  Prayer.
                      Lead me gently home,Father,
                       Lead me gently home
                      Mid life's darkest hours Father,
                      When sad trials come.
                      Keep my feet from wandering,
                      Lest my feet should roam;
Lest I fall upon the wayside,
                       Lead me gently home.
In Jesus name we ask this,
                                      Amen.

I have learned.[ Hebrews 12 v 5-6//// Isaiah 54 v 10]

In  Psalm 23 the writer  David ,declares the Lord in my shepherd, now the wonderful truth is,every child of God can likewise say those words, with the same assurance. When the Lord is ones shepherd, then we all we read in this lovely Psalm, can apply to us.We can say with confidence that we shall not want,we may not get all we want, for that is not what David is saying, but our
Lord will supply our needs[Philippians 4 v19].  The apostle Paul , learned to be content, whatever his circumstances. [Philippians 4 v11].Davids circumstances where often difficult, life can be difficult,we think of many of Gods people who are going through difficult times. It is in these difficult times we really appreciate those words the Lord is our shepherd. It is in those difficult times we begin to grow,we begin to stop relying on self, and start relying upon our good shepherd.I would say that the difficulties we experience are vital for our growth, just as pruning is for a rose bush.A rose bush left to itself becomes a wild rose bush,a life that has not experienced trials,is a life that will not develop as God intends.Who wants a spoilt child,so it is God will discipline us in various ways, that we may learn to be content, learn to be more compassionate, more loving more
kind,more holy,and so on,that in our  Gethsemane,we will,pray through our tears,Thy will be done.
                                                A  prayer
Dear Lord and  good shepherd we commit our lives once again into your loving care, and pray in all that you send into our lives  we will grow,in Your name we ask this Amen.

Living water [ John 4 v 10 ]

Not only does Jesus promise that He will give water that can satisfy a person thirst, but he also promised living water. There are places in this water
where people only have polluted water the result is they die.So it is that the vast majority of people are drinking water that cannot satisfy, not only that
but it will destroy them. Malcolm Muggeridge wrote the following,
/I may,I suppose, regard myself,or pass for being,a relatively successful man. People occasionally  stare at me in the streets-that's fame. I can fairly
easily earn enough  to qualify for admission to the higher slopes of the
Inland Revenue- that's success. Furnished with money and a little fame even the elderly,if they care to, may partake of trendy diversions-that's pleasure. It may happen once in a while that something I said or wrote was sufficiently heeded for me to persuade myself  that it represented a serious impact on our time- that's fulfilment. Yet I say to you,and I beg you to believe me, multiply these tiny triumphs by a million, add them all together, and they are nothing- less than nothing,  a positive impediment- measured against  one draught of that living water Christ offers to the spiritually   thirsty, irrespective of who or what they are./
I heard the voice of Jesus say
                            Behold,I freely give
                           The living water,thirsty one
                            Stoop down,and drink, and live.
I came to Jesus, and I drank,
                             Of that life-giving stream;
My thirst was quenched,my soul revived,
And now I live in Him.
                                    [Horatius Bonar]

Are you thirsty? [ John 4 v 4- 13 ]

In John 4 we read of Jesus meeting a women at a well,I want to highlight
the character of this woman, she was a woman with thirst that was not being satisfied. She had been married 5 times, but at that time she was cohabiting
with a man. Things have  not changed much,I suppose they never will, men and women are seeking for that which satisfies, and alas  they still thirst.
Jesus knew all about this lady,He did not come to that well and to this lady by chance.  No he came to bring her an answer to her great need, let me ask ,are you thirsty?,well listen to what Jesus has to say.She had come to the well to draw some water, something she may have done hundreds of time.So
Jesus says,/Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst again, indeed the water I give him will become in him a spring of water well up to eternal life v13/
                                          A prayer.
Dear Lord Jesus we thank you that can satisfy the thirsty soul  Amen.

He must take the highest station. [ 1 Corinthians 3 v 1 - 9]

Johns gospel is different than the other gospels, the miracles are seen as signs, yes they where miracles, demonstrations of Gods power.According to
Bruce Milne while John used the word sign, the writers of the other gospels
use  a different word with one exception, one the word they used was dynameis, meaning an act of power. So let us consider the turning of water into wine,in John 2 v1-11.Jesus is at a wedding, yes He was sociable, while there, they ran out of wine, this did not happen by chance, for it would be an opportunity for His glory to be seen. For the Christian the unexpected is not by chance, and can be for us likewise an opportunity to glorify our Lord. Wedding celebrations could last up to a week,it must have cost a lot ,and for whatever reason they ran out of wine.It is then we have Mary intervening,by going to Jesus with the problem,am I wrong in thinking that we have no other recorded incidences,of Mary speaking[other than at the time of  Jesus birth] it is so sad when it seems in some circles Mary is elevated to be none other than a goddess. While we should honour her,we must see Mary as a lovely believer. As B.Milne,writes,/ Mary approached Jesus as his mother,
is reproached .....she responds as a believer, and her faith is honoured/.
                                     A   prayer.
Dear help us to see that all times your Son Jesus will take the highest station
Amen.

It is not a do it yourself job. [Philippians 3 v 1-10 ]

All Israel have a portion in the world to come,as it is said,Your  people are
all righteous, they shall inherit the land, they are the shoot that I planted. My own handiwork, in which I glory[Isaiah 60v2]. Such reads the Jewish
authorised daily prayer book, now contrast this with what we read in John 1 v13, which clarifies how one is classed as a child of God,/Children born not
of  natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God./ We see how the latter flies in the face of what the Jewish prayer book says,it rules out natural descent.Recently  I spoke to a young man who I know how to pray,as the conversation went on ,it appears that's to him that this is what most important, but its not. Many people when they think of England as  a Christian country, but living here I know its not. When a person says that they are C of E,or RC, or whatever, it can be  meaningless . John in his statement is seeking to clear a way the dead wood, and  help us to see what is vital to our spiritual well being. That we are not resting on a false hope, that would be folly and disastrous, the new birth is the work God,
which comes about, when we seek forgiveness for our sins ,and believe in the Lord Jesus as our Saviour.
                                   A    prayer.
Dear God, open the eyes of men and women to what it really means to be a child of God, in Jesus name we ask this Amen.

Becoming His child. [John 1 v 12-14]

We have considered the worlds ,and Israels treatment of  Christ, that of indifference,to brutal antagonism, which culminated on His death on a cross.
Yet says John,to those who receive him,to those who believe in his name,
he gives the right to become children of God[ John 1 v12 ]The situation is
sad ,when we consider the millions who to this day, fail to recognise,or accept Christ, yet there are those who do by the grace of God,believe in Him. Bruce Milne writes that/ John's purpose in writing his gospel is evangelistic,he writes to produce decisive commitment to Christ./ Yes things have not changed ,the vast number of people in this world, remain indifferent to the claims of ,and often antagonistic,In spite of this we are to be faithful witnesses to Christ, note what John writes it is only those who accept Christ ,become children of God.If a person has not accepted Christ they are not a child of God,that may be hard to accept, but it is true. Yes God is our creator, but that does not mean that He is our Father that only comes about as John tells us, when one accepts Christ.
                                          A  prayer.
Dear God we thank you that we when we accept Christ,we can look up and call you Father. Amen.

Israel [John 1 v 10]

John has stated that the world did not recognise their creator ,Jesus, but then he goes on to say,/He came to that which was his own,but his own did not receive him[ John 1 v10]. In Luke 12 v48,we read,/From everyone who has
been given much, much will be demanded, and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more  will be required/.In Romans 3 v2,we read
of the great advantage the Jews had,/that they had been entrusted with the very words of God./The witness of the prophets was part of their history, the Torah was a vital witness to them, every Sabbath it would be read and
expounded in their synagogues. To them Gods word was everything ,they
diligently searched the scriptures, this is to be commended,do we?,but Jesus
points out that the scriptures in themselves do not save,For the scriptures are a revelation about Jesus, they testify about Him[ John 5 v39] Bible reading, praying, church attendance does not save, only childlike faith in Jesus, saves .The result was the Jews did not accept the one the Bible spoke of,and refused to come to Him[John 5 v40],and so it continues to this day.
                                       A   prayer.
Dear God have mercy upon Christ rejecting Israel in Jesus the Messiahs name.Amen.

The great Creator. [Revelation 3 v20]

In John 1 v 10 we read,/He [Jesus] was in the world, and though the world was made through Him,the world did not recognise Him. The first thing to grasp is the clear statement of Jesus as creator,in Genesis 1 v1 we read ,/In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth/,how did He do it?,by speaking,v3 And God said. and so the word ,God the Son,went forth and made all things. Yet in spite of this, the world then and now fail to recognise and accept, their maker. Humanity fails to acknowledge Him,for many hundreds of years Rome persecuted His followers, likewise the nations in the 20th century, remember those who persecute Christians, persecute Christ
[Acts 9 v5 ].Studdert-Kennedy wrote a poem called indifference, stressing
the fact that if Christ came again today, would it be different?
/When Jesus came to Birmingham they simply passed Him by,
Then never hurt a hair of Him,they only let Him die,
For men had grown more tender, and they would not give Him pain,
They only just passed down the street, and left Him in the rain/
The claims of Jesus still go unheeded,so few never give Christ a first thought, never mind a second.Yet Christ still knocks at peoples hearts door, saying ,can I  come in?can I come in?.
                                             A  prayer.
Dear God we thank you for sending Jesus, who continues to seek an entrance into peoples lives,Amen

What about the?. [ Matthew 25 v14- 30 ]

As I sat down for my breakfast,I heard a voice saying what about those who have no food?.As  I drank a class of clean water ,I heard a voice say what
about those who have only polluted water to drink?. As I looked at my wardrobe ,I heard a voice say, what about those who are nearly naked?.As I looked at my rows of shoes,I heard a voice saying what those who walk
barefoot?.As I looked at my nice home,I heard a voice say what about the homeless?.As I considered the freedom I enjoy I heard a voice saying, what about the oppressed?. As I thanked God for my salvation, I heard a voice say, what about the lost?.
                                           A prayer.
Dear God guide us by your Spirit as to how we can help those in need
by our giving and caring,in Jesus Name Amen.

A kingdom that will never end. [ Daniel 2 v 44 ]

It was written of Lenin, that it was by sheer force of will.that he drove his followers to the October  Revolution, sometimes one individual does change the course of history.[S.B. Montefiore].The result says the same writer was
the first Marxist government,a government initially led by Lenin, and then Stalin,it was especially Stalin and his followers, that sacrificed millions of
lives at the pitiless altar,of their Utopian ideology. He goes on to write, the
October revolution was more farce than glory. Tragically the real revolution
pitiless, and bloody, started the moment the comedy ended. These words
spell out a very chilling tale, that was all so true, and so very sad.Now let me tell you of another man who through the weakness,of His death, on a cross
changed this worlds history, and is still doing it.His name is Jesus, those who where and are his followers, experienced  a change that profoundly changed their lives, yes He pulled the idolatrous gods, idols down and set people free, over 2000 years has passed since He died that sacrificial death, the change He continues making is glorious, and will continue ,until the end of time. Yes there will be and end, when Jesus will return, to gather His own ,and to judge those who have rejected Him,and set up a kingdom that will never end.
                                      A  prayer.
Dear God may thy kingdom come,we pray that millions and millions of
people be gathered into that kingdom that will have no end in Jesus name Amen .
