They were lost ( Luke 19 v10)

My wife is self employed and she works with the elderly,recently she told me,how when she was doing some cleaning in a persons home,she found a gold ring.She took it to the old lady who was delighted, and she said, she had been looking for it for 2yrs.It reminded me of what our Saviour taught in Luke 15,of a shepherd who found a lost sheep,and a woman who found a lost coin,and a father who got back a lost son. He told  this to some very religious people who had criticised Him because he mixed with people who they considered  sinners.Yes they were sinners and indeed  lost sinners,those religious people could only see sinners,to be ostracised,only fit for hell.Jesus could see them as people who needed to be found and brought back to God,how do you look at so  called bad people?do you look at them with the eyes of the religious people?,or with the eyes of Christ?

                                         With one, the Man of Sorrows,Condemned to bleed and die,

                                          O teach me what it cost Thee, to make a sinner whole;

                                          And teach me, Saviour,teach me, the value of a soul.'
