Perfection

We often say no ones perfect, of course we agree with this , sort of, the Bible says we are all sinners, again we sort of agree with this, for it brings a new dimension into the picture, God and us, and thats more serious, very, Hebrews 10v14 ,tells us God has solved the problem through Jesus and his death

Mistakes

Yesterday I made a mistake ,in regards to my blog ,I pressed the entry button, when I should not have,I was not sure how to undo it. this had me consider the question of mistakes, the fact of the matter is, we all make mistakes, take driving , I have been asked, am I good driver,I replied , sometimes, the fact of the matter is we all make mistakes,let us remember to err is human, only God is perfect,and never makes a mistake .

Ask God

There are many wonderful people in the bible, we can learn so much from there lives,take Joshua, the successor to Moses, how would feel if you had been him






There are many wonderful people in the bible, we can learn so much from them,their lives ,and ministries, Have you got a favourite?.One of my favourites is Jeremiah,there is so much one could say about him, I just mention two things , his faithfullness, and his persevance, ask God to grant you these two very important qualities .

Cover your back

Under investigation, in so many areas of life, you have to watch your back,if you dont then you will be under investigation,or you will be criticized .This affects an awful lot of people,and an awful lot of people are affected by it, we need continually to pray against this,we are not to live under this oppression, the Psalmist declares[ I will fear no evil,for thou art with me. Ps23v4]

Bad News/ Good News

Psalm 112v7 , reads[ they do not fear bad news , they confidently trust the Lord to care for them] [NLT] ,If we are a child of God ,He is our loving heavenly Father,our Saviour taught ,your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, so dont worry about tomarrow, surely thats good news.

Hope

In the little room of my sons hangs a saying,[No God no peace, Know God peace] . Some of the saddest words I read in the Bible are to be found in Ephesians 2v12 [without God and without hope] . 1Corinthians 13v13 reads [three things will last forever -faith,hope,love] .In psalm 42v11 we read [Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God]. All this comes through Christ ,so today let hope arise.

Feelings or Faith?

Bob Gass wrote[ feelings have nothing to with living the Christian life] , the fact of the matter is we are full of feelings,the Christian life is a life of faith.Our circumstances can be difficult,like Jacob of old we may feel everything is against you, but take note ,if God is for you and He is,all will be well,have faith in God [Mark 11v22]
